Indiana 26 at Jay County Road 800 East is closed for about 90 minutes because of an accident, state police said today.

A tractor-trailer rig lost a load of steel in the crash, state police at Fort Wayne said in a statement.

It advised drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while emergency crews work to clear the road.
