FORT WAYNE – Smith Road is scheduled to close to all traffic south of Covington Road.

The Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Thursday that the closure will begin at 9 p.m. today and open by 6 a.m. Friday.

It was there is a broken water main.

The official detour will use Covington Road, Ardmore Avenue and Engle Road.
