Two men robbed a restaurant Saturday night on Fort Wayne's south end, city police said.
The men went to Chi Town Fish & Chicken, 7505 S. Anthony Blvd., and jumped the counter, said officer Jason Anthony, a police spokesman.
One of the men pointed a black revolver at an employee and demanded money from the register, Anthony said. The other man grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, and the pair fled.
They got into a purple sport utility vehicle and were last seen headed toward the area of Old Decatur Road and Serenity Drive. Police were dispatched to the restaurant shortly after 8:30 p.m.
One robber was described as having a mustache and a medium build. He was in his 40s, 5-foot-9 and black. He wore a black, hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. The second robber was said to be younger, 5-foot-7 and black, with a medium build. He had on a black, hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Anthony said investigators were trying to obtain surveillance video of the holdup.
