The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding an Angola man who is accused of molesting a girl younger than 14 years old.

The Steuben County Circuit Court has issued an arrest warrant for Joseph Dwight McDowell, 30, who is charged with felony child molesting, according to a written statement issued by the sheriff’s department.

It said that the charge stems from an investigation that started in October.

McDowell is described as 5-foot-7 and 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to have a goatee.
