FORT WAYNE – City police are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robber who took painkillers from a pharmacy on the northeast side.
The robber went into the Walgreens store at 2410 N. Coliseum Blvd. at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday and handed over a note demanding fentanyl and methadone, according to a written statement issued by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
No injuries were reported.
The robber is described as being white, in his 20s with a thin build. He last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and a black ball cap with a silver sticker on it and white writing.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the police department at 427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 436-7867. A cash reward is possible.
