Warsaw drug raid nets meth, 2 arrests

Officers found two methamphetamine labs and a stolen handgun Thursday in a Warsaw motel room, leading to the arrest of a wanted pair, Warsaw police said.

An anonymous tip regarding illegal drug activity and two people with warrants sent officers to the Economy Inn at 3521 Lake City Highway.

In a room there, police found the stolen handgun and the two labs, along with meth, other illegal drugs and ingredients to make meth, police said.

Justin Lewallen, 30, of North Webster was being held without bail Thursday at the Kosciusko County Jail on two unrelated felony warrants.

Chelsea Wools, 18, of Syracuse was jailed on a felony charge of possession of precursors and a misdemeanor count of failing to appear. Her bail was set at $2,755.
