Mothballed downtown wreath to return

FORT WAYNE – The University of Saint Francis is bringing back a downtown Christmas decoration.

When it bought the former Scottish Rite building at 431 W. Berry St., the purchase included a 16-foot wreath with a six-foot bow, 400 lights and 15 lit ornaments that had been in storage since 2003.

The wreath will be installed at the USF Performing Arts Center on Monday morning, weather permitting, and lit on the Night of Lights with other downtown holiday displays, the university said in a statement.

It said CMS Roofing donated the installation and the university Operations Department restored the wreath.
