Leading by eight points with less than a minute remaining, the Mad Ants enabled Dakota to rally for a 104-101 NBA D-League victory Friday at Memorial Coliseum.
Leading 99-91 with 46.5 seconds left, the Ants allowed Dakota to score two three-pointers and a free throw to get within 99-98.
Vernon Macklin's dunk with 34.3 left put the Ants (13-36) ahead 101-98, but a Dakota basket, followed by Edwin Ubiles' layup off a steal with 17.4 seconds left gave the Wizards a 102-101 lead.
Macklin led the Ants with 25 points.
Fort Wayne will close out its regular season at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against Dakota.
